Registering is very easy and only takes about 10 minutes. It requires no blood, just a simple cotton swab of the mouth.
Before you register read up on what registering entails and what the process of donating bone marrow is really like here. If you have read the information there and are ready to register there are several options for you.

Host Your Own Drive
If you know of an event that would reach out the asian community and get them more involved in this cause here is how you can run your own drive:
1. Set a date, time, and location for your drive (preferably one where you know there will be a high number of potential marrow donors).
2. Contact us or A3M to find out how to acquire the forms and kits and training that you will need to run a drive.
3.Make sure that you have a few tables, chairs, and 4-10 volunteers, depending on how large of an event you will be working at. Volunteer work mainly involves passing out flyers, helping people with registration forms, and supporting the recruitment organization representative(s).
it is also important to publicize and promote the event. Make sure people are educated about the process of donating bone marrow and make sure that they understand that registering is an easy process!
